The landmarks of the city of Jerash include many ancient and archaeological sites, such as:

– The South Theatre: This is a Roman archaeological landmark built at the end of the first century AD. It can accommodate up to 3,000 people and was dedicated to gladiatorial games and wild animal fights.
– The Hippodrome: Also known as the Circus, it is in the shape of the letter “U” and consists of two walls.
– The Jerash Pools: These were used for Roman celebrations during the arrival of spring.
– The Nymphaeum: Built at the end of the second century AD.
– The South Gate (Philadelphia Gate): Built in the second century AD and destroyed during the wars in 268 AD.
– The North Theatre: Completed in 165 AD.
– The Colonnaded Street: One of the most important landmarks in the city, it is 800 meters long.
– The Temple of Artemis: Considered one of the most magnificent monuments in the city, it was dedicated to the goddess who protected the city and was built in the second century AD.

Participant Instructions Through Offices

Participants in the “Our Jordan is Heaven” program for 2025 must adhere to the following:

1. The participant shall review the available trip programs on the “Our Jordan is Heaven” platform (https://jannah.jo) or through the app and select the suitable program by coordinating with one of the participating offices in the program, listed under “Approved Tourism Offices.”
3. The latest time for canceling a reservation is 24 hours before the scheduled trip departure.
4. Participants must adhere to attending the designated departure station at the scheduled time for the trip.
5. The participant will receive a full refund if the trip is canceled 72 hours before the scheduled departure.
6. The participant will receive half the amount if the trip is canceled 24 hours before the scheduled departure.
7. The participant forfeits their right to claim any amounts paid if they violate the program’s instructions.
